Darrell knows that he is able to give to others and spread joy! He does this by assembling HOPE Pack kits in Elim’s adult services program.
HOPE Packs supply essential school supplies to children in local communities. Darrell (pictured above, right) enjoys his work with HOPE packs, saying, “It makes me feel really good inside and puts a smile on my face because I know I get to be a part of helping out someone that needs something, and we all need that.”
Once Darrell packages the HOPE Packs, he then volunteers to go to the different schools and personally deliver the school supply kits to the children. He says he gets to meet some “special friends” when he does that, which he calls a blessing.
HOPE Packs create a double blessing by allowing Elim adults to do meaningful work and go out in the community, and by providing children with the supplies they need to have a successful school year. Because of supporters like you, Darrell gets to come to Elim and spread love and joy.
