As we track the impact of COVID-19 at Elim, we’re sharing data about cases and testing to keep the public informed about how the pandemic is affecting our community. When Elim receives notification of a positive test result within our school community, we will notify parents and staff at the specific building. In addition, Elim will work with the Cook County Department of Public Health (CCPH) to identify close contacts and determine the proper protocols that need to be followed. CCPH will initiate contact tracing.
The information charts the number of positive COVID-19 cases reported to the Cook County of Department of Health. We will aim to update this information weekly each Monday by noon.
Due to privacy laws, we will not be disclosing names or any identifying information. If you are identified as having potential close contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID, then you will be contacted by CCPH.
