Elim is on Pinterest

September 2, 2013

Elim is now on Pinterest! By visiting pinterest.com/elimcs, anyone can  have access to Elim-approved special education resources. Elim’s Pinterest page contains recent Elim news, photos, and event information. The Pinterest site is also jam-packed with teaching tips, arts and crafts ideas, and educational resources that may benefit friends, families, or educators of individuals with special needs.
Pinterest is a free social media site that allows members to “pin” collections of photos onto virtual bulletin boards.  Because of Pinterest’s popularity, Elim’s staff recognized that it was an easily accessible way to impact countless people and distribute the resources Elim has gathered in its 60+ years of ministry.

Elim staff member Carolyn Meves has been overseeing the project. She is excited to see how it grows to impact even more people. “At Elim, we strive to provide resources for families and educators. Pinterest gives us a new way to share resources within our agency and the community, allowing us to learn from each other and build relationships.”
