Caitlin Finds Her Voice

October 20, 2020

Caitlin transferred to Elim her sophomore year of high school due to specialized education needs that couldn’t be met in many mainstream school settings. This is common for many schools, private and public, which is why your support of Elim is so important for so many families.

Caitlin has now spent almost seven years at Elim, and is thriving more than ever. As her mom claims, “It was the best decision we ever made.”

At first it was a tough adjustment for Caitlin. She was shy, but it didn’t take long for her to find her voice. She quickly made friends and loves to tell stories to everyone around her. She was also involved with Elim Cheer and enjoyed doing it alongside her friends!

Caitlin has been able to gain independence, become more comfortable around her fellow students and staff, and speak up for herself when she needs to.

Thanks to you, Caitlin graduated from Elim this past spring! Way to go Caitlin!

Although Caitlin is sad that her time at Elim has come to an end, she is ready to take on whatever is next for her! Elim, with your help, has equipped her to thrive to her fullest potential.
