Autism and You

April 24, 2017

When you support Elim, you provide support and interventions that equip children and adults living with autism to achieve their highest God-given potential. The latest edition of the “Elim Equip” shares stories from our staff and families that will show you just how your impact is being felt in the lives of these people and their families.

In this edition, you’ll read about:

  • Matthew and Kyle, whose time in our Pathways program, especially together, has helped them develop communication skills they use at home
  • Bradley, whose independence is grown, as measured by the absence of a wagon
  • and Willie, a gentleman with autism, who uses his gifts to bless others

If autism is part of your life, you know that it can impact how information is proceed, how a person communicates or behaves, and it can even impact how a family structure works. Your support of Elim allows us to provide the best services possible to help each person address their particular needs, and to do whatever we can to pursue the best possible opportunities, so that they in turn can pursue their God-given purpose.

As you download and read this issue of the Equip, please know that your support has been critical to each story, and it is your support that will equip us to continue this great work. Thank you!
