“Professionalism with a Big Heart”

Timothy Kelly, Director, DePree Public Policy Institute Associate Professor of Psychology, came to Elim for a tour recently. He was impressed by what he saw! Here are his words,

“Thank you as well for graciously hosting my visit yesterday. As I told you and the staff, I have never seen a more impressive or better-run facility (either DD or ED). I served as Commissioner for Virginia’s Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services in the mid-90s, and would have loved to use Elim as a model at that time. It was a pleasure to meet with you and the staff – especially given the unique combination you seem to have at Elim of professionalism with a big heart! ”
