Hope Project Gains Momentum

HOPE Project has been moving forward at an incredible speed! Since the idea of HOPE began the Lord has been very obvious in how He is blessing this project and touching the hearts of all who have had the opportunity to be involved. At least 7 churches have participated in this ministry, and we fully expect many more to come out and participate in the next weeks, months, and years (Lord-willing).

As you have read before in these pages, HOPE Partners (Hands of Partnership at Elim) is a new ministry venture for Elim. Through it we see great potential in serving thousands of children in need all over the world, at home and abroad! The adults in Elim’s adult services have been packaging relief supplies, seed kits, and school supply kits for people in other parts of the country and other parts of the world.

Other organizations and ministries have asked us for help. They need high-quality workers to assemble these kits, especially school supplies. Elim is able to supply those workers: our adults with disabilities. These HOPE Packs are vital to many ministries. In fact, in many developing countries, school supplies are the only thing standing between children and an education.

Through the work that has been done in the last couple of months by our adult clients, thousands of children have already been blessed. Elim will soon be able to offer HOPE packs for sponsorship. At $15 per HOPE pack you can sponsor one pack, or choose to sponsor any given amount of HOPE packs per month! In doing so you can help not only numerous children who need school supplies, but you also give our clients meaningful and plentiful work.

What kind of impact can HOPE Project potentially have on Elim?
Elim could potentially erase the $2.1 million deficit that exists in Adult services due to the dramatic funding drop from the state for people with disabilities once they turn 21 years old.
HOPE gives Elim an opportunity to promote and bring people to Elim.
HOPE gives everyone the opportunity to sponsor Elim and serve the world!

YOU too can be part of this exciting venture of ministry at Elim. As you leave Elim everyday and go into your community, your family, your church, and maybe even another job, you can tell others about HOPE Project! Tell them about the opportunity to volunteer with our adults, tell them about being able to serve children all over the world by giving them the tools they need to go to school. Tell them how the Lord has been blessing through the people at Elim and continues to do such wonderful work!
