Elim On Your FM Dial

The next time you are in your car, tune your FM radio dial to 89.7 and listen for Elim. Over the next two months, our new HOPE Packs program will be featured on SHINE FM (WONU 89.7) as they build up to a HOPE Sponsors campaign on their station (contact Jenna Hania – or 708-293-3630 – to find out more about HOPE Sponsors and the HOPE Packs program). Shine FM will be hosting a one-day HOPE Sponsors on August 15. Included in this effort will be several pre-promotion pieces that air on Shine FM talking about Elim and the HOPE Packs program.

This is very exciting for Elim. Supporters like Tom Van Prooyen and Ken Lautenbach (not to mention several staff members) have already recorded spots to promote the effort on SHINE, and we will work to record more spots as the summer progresses. Getting SHINE involved in raising up a team of HOPE Sponsors presents a wonderful opportunity to:
•Get Elim’s message out to a supportive, Christian audience
•Talk about how people like you provide and care for people with disabilities, especially by providing them meaningful work opportunities
•Show them that people with disabilities can tangibly bless others, by supplying them with HOPE Packs of school supplies
•Get the essential funding we need to accomplish these goals

WONU was very excited about working with us, and even offered to promote our HOPE Sponsors program at other events they attend. Jenna Hania, the Relational Marketing Coordinator in charge of HOPE Sponsors, even got one of the radio staff members to sign up as a HOPE Sponsor. Have you signed up yet?
