Elim Is So Different!

Cheryl Champ joined Elim’s ACE staff in August of 2007 as an aide in Sara Bailie’s classroom. She was happily surprised to see the differences at Elim. Here’s a brief account of her experience.

“Elim is totally different than anywhere else I’ve worked in the past. It is a wonderful place and offers so much to the kids. Not only does Elim have twice as much equipment but the staff treats the children so differently. In my past job, the kids with disabilities were treated as if there was no hope for them. At Elim, there’s so much hope! The staff interacts with them and knows that they can make progress. Elim is a wonderful place!”
