Elim's Moving Beyond...Capital Campaign

imageGod equips all of us to move beyond our disabilities, beyond what we perceive to be possible, to achieve our God-given potential. At Elim, this translates into moving people beyond human limits to their limitlessness as image-bearers of God himself. In this movement business, miracles happen:

  • Children are moved beyond their potential,
  • Parents are moved beyond their fear,
  • Caregivers are moved beyond their expectations,
  • People are moved beyond their ignorance,
  • Partners are moved beyond their giving, and
  • Ministry is moved beyond geographical limits.

Elim is committed to advancing the powerful message of moving beyond potential to a world so much in need. The exciting intersection of Elim’s expertise, and the world’s profound need, has the potential to exponentially increase the kingdom impact of Elim Christian Services.

The Moving Beyond Capital Campaign provides the “fuel” that will propel Elim from this “launching pad” to influence and impact those who have the privilege of caring for children and adults with disabilities. This $16M campaign funds:

  1. Development of a new, state-of-the-art Adult Services building ($7.2M).
  2. New Space for ACE: expansion of the Autism Comprehensive Education Program ($4.5M).
  3. Creation of a world-class applied teaching center for best practices in special education and adult vocational services ($4.3M).

The new Elim will be a powerful vehicle for equipping people to serve the developmentally disabled. Elim’s new center is an expansion of our existing outreach to Christian schools through the Discovery Network; our joint venture with Trinity Christian College through The Alexander De Jong Center for Special Education, and our commitment to provide a clinical forum for research.

At Elim, everyone involved with the care of a person with a developmental disability comes to understand the paradoxical trilogy: We bless them. They bless us. Together, we bless God.
