Bringing HOPE to all

It’s hard to imagine a program that brings more blessings than HOPE Packs. What started as an effort to provide Elim’s adults with meaningful assembly work has blossomed into a significant way to impact the broader community. With your support and efforts we have provided thousands of school supply kits for children in local communities.

What are HOPE Packs?

HOPE Packs are packs of school supply kits provided to students. These kits give them the tools they need to have a productive and successful school year. These packs include pencils, folders, notebooks, glue, markers, erasers, scissors, and more! They are carefully assembled by Elim’s adults and distributed to schools and ministries in the Chicagoland area.

Who is impacted?

By supporting HOPE Packs, you are supporting two individuals: Your partnership blesses an Elim adult with meaningful work AND provides essential school supplies to a child not far from your own community. You make a life-long impact on both of their lives.

How can you get involved?

It is easy to get involved and give HOPE today! No matter if you are a group or individual, your partnership will go a long way in supporting the HOPE Packs mission. You can get involved by:

  1. Hosting a HOPE Packs campaign at your church, business, or school.
  2. Making a personal donation to provide HOPE Packs (or become a monthly contributor).
  3. Getting your church connected by talking to our Relationship Manager.
  4. Sponsor a classroom, and spread your blessing even further.

“I’ve watched the impact of these school kits from both sides. They provide meaningful work for our adults here at Elim. It empowers them to be able to make a difference in the lives of the children that receive them. It allows our adults to be a ‘help’ to the recipients and enriches their lives by being able to help when some view them as only recipients of help. The impact that these kits make in the lives of these children is immeasurable and priceless.”
