GET INVOLVED

OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHURCHES & SCHOOLS
Darrell, one of Elim’s adults, once told us that he liked his church because “they don’t treat me like I’m different.” Elim wants to walk alongside churches and schools that aspire to become oases for people with disabilities, where they are loved, cared for, and encouraged to become the people God has called them to become. Your involvement with Elim truly equips people with disabilities to respond to God’s call on their lives, to achieve their highest God-given potential. Too many people think those with disabilities are just recipients of mercy; Elim – with your help – can equip them to be agents of His mercy.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR SCHOOLS
In order to meet the needs of over 900 children and adults with disabilities and related special needs, Elim must raise $2,000,000 per year to fully fund its programs. Your involvement helps Elim equip people with disabilities to respond to God’s call on their lives, to achieve their highest God-given potential. Too many people think those with disabilities are just recipients of mercy; Elim – with your help – can equip them to be agents of His mercy.

LEARN ABOUT ELIM
- Help your school learn more about the children and adults served at Elim each day. Here are some ideas:
- Invite an Elim spokesperson, or one of Elim’s choirs, to speak/perform in your chapel or assembly
- Run a “pen pal” program with Elim students or adults
- Take a class group of any size for an interactive tour of Elim. Customizable tours include Elim’s history, opportunities to directly interact with our students, and volunteer opportunities through Elim HOPE Packs.

DISABILITY AWARENESS
Help us spread awareness about the unique blessings and needs of individuals with disabilities. It’s easy! Here are some creative ideas:
- Hold a Disability Awareness hour and invite Elim and others to participate
- Host a Disabilities Awareness day; Elim can help!
- Devote an entire month to Disability Awareness on the subject of “Christian Mercy” – invite Elim to participate
